building a business 

After nearly 5 years working as a graphic designer for another company, I decided to launch my own company, Creative Forces Design Co.,LLC (CFD) in the midst of the pandemic. CFD is a multifaceted design company specializing in web and graphic design, as well as photography.

Branding is a huge passion of mine, I love taking a company and giving it structure in the marketing world whether that be with a consistent color scheme, a logo, a website, marketing collateral or a company branding photoshoot.

Photos have been a major part of my personal life since before I can remember. My first camera was a Barbie polaroid from my grandma. I took pictures of everything from the sky to my shoes. I still have an album of my first photos that I keep around just to remind me how far I've come. I started taking photography seriously in high school with yearbook and newspaper class but it wasn’t until college that I realized I had a true passion for it. I collect old cameras, and jump at the chance to go to old thrift shops and antique stores to look for more. I love taking pictures of everything but my true passion is taking photos of people. I love capturing special moments whether it’s their wedding day, or their baby bump.

My husband Matt and I have been married 7 wonderful years that seem to be FLYING by. We moved to Austin in August of 2019 from our hometown of San Angelo, where we met and graduated college from Angelo State University. We welcomed our sweet baby boy, Rush, into the world in July of '23 and are so in love. We have two dogs; Chief (red border collie) and Champ (black lab), and a cat Ann Purrrrkins (cue Chris Traeger's voice). 

 

A few of my favorite things include a nice long walk with friends, brewery hangouts, Crossfit workouts, paddle boarding, hiking with the dogs, a wine date at LoLo, playing pickleball, or sitting at Zilker Park reading a good psychological thriller. 

 

I love Jesus, am an enneagram 2 married to an enneagram 7, have a houseful of monsteras and I can't start my day without coffee! Matt and I are both foodies and trying new restaurants is our favorite date night activity.
