Bridals for Shelby Hartman

This bridal session was extra special for me; I’ve known Shelby since we were little bitty in elementary school. We grew up going to the same church, running with the same group of friends, going on the same mission trips and attending the same school. Along with a long history of friendship, another special thing about these bridals was the location; First United Methodist Church in San Angelo. There’s something about stained glass in a bridal shoot that makes my heart happy.

This shoot involved a funky couch overlooking downtown San Angelo, the GOODEST GIRL (Shelby’s sweet pup Katie dressed in the CUTEST little bandana that says “I do too”) and a denim jacket made by India Jarvis ( @hippie_west on Instagram ) that added some flare and brought some [ more ] personality to Shelby’s bridals - check it out below.

I always have clients asking if they should do bridals, and I always say YES 100%.

Why? The better question is why not?

There’s nothing more fun than to put your wedding dress on, dress up and feel like a princess for a few hours. Bridals are so much fun, and it’s a great trial run for hair and makeup for your special day. These are photos you will look back on forever—and just a tip—they make great gifts to give the father of the bride and your husband (after a first look or after the ceremony).
