Last summer I had the pleasure of meeting a new bride on South Congress Street in Austin, TX (before I even moved here), randomly in passing—she needed someone to snap a quick photo of her and her family by the lights that are strung outside of Kendra Scott beside Perla’s (that me and my friends were also taking photos in front of). Now 7 months later I am taking her engagement photos! Talk about fate!
Abby and Chris met through mutual friends but didn’t reconnect again until two years later. Fast forward and now they’ve been dating for 8 years (WOW) and planning a wedding for June of this year! Chris proposed to Abby while they visited New York City for the first time, right outside the beautiful NY cityscape. How romantic is that?!
Their favorite thing to do together is to travel together—the couple has been all over the U.S. such as—Miami, Pensacola, Albuquerque, Arizona, Las Vegas, and Los Angeles, Albany, GA and the list goes on. The couple’s favorite place to date was Santa Monica, CA with the beautiful beaches and view of the mountains. They are hoping to make a trip overseas soon! Maybe for a honeymoon?? Hint, hint Chris.
Chris is a sales associate at T-Mobile and Abby works as an HR Secretary of a commercial cleaning business. In their spare time, they love to spend time with their friends and family, they have three children—Anna, Aiden and Arian with ages ranging from 10 to 4. Abby loves to bake and decorate desserts and Chris enjoys working on cosplay props.
I’m super excited for their summer wedding that will be here before we know it!
