On April 18, a sunny Sunday evening, at an intimate wedding ceremony, Christian and Abigail made vows to love each other forever.
I first met Abby on South Congress when she asked me to take a photo of her and her family by the string of lights by Perlas and one of my friends chimed and mentioned that I was a photographer. Little did I know Abby needed a wedding photographer!
I took her and Chris's engagement photos a few months later about one month before COVID-19 shut the world down. Due to the shutdown, their June wedding was postponed. They rescheduled then for August and had to reschedule again - so you can imagine how happy Abby was to finally get married this April!
The couple met through mutual friends and have been together for 10 years! Chris proposed to Abby while they visited New York City for the first time, right outside the beautiful NY cityscape. Their favorite thing to do together is to travel together—the couple has been all over the U.S. such as—Miami, Pensacola, Albuquerque, Arizona, Las Vegas, and Los Angeles, Albany, GA and the list goes on. The couple’s favorite place to date was Santa Monica, CA with the beautiful beaches and view of the mountains.
Loving travel, it's only natural that the couple flew to Los Angelos and then rented a car, making the road trip to San Francisco and Las Vegas, and then back to LA for their honeymoon.
Together the two have three children—Anna, Aiden, and Arian. A few of my favorite moments are when Arian sees Abby for the first time in her dress! He couldn't stop smiling!
Besides the beautiful sunset that The Terrace Club in Dripping Springs offers, one of the highlights of the night was the band they had play: Siggno. This is the couple's favorite band and the night was full of dancing and singing.
Needless to say, the night was full of fun, laughter and SO much love. Congratulations to the newlyweds, Mr. and Mrs. Christian Gamez!
